95 RESOLUTION 1983-68 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE NOTICE OF SALE AND BIDDING INSTRUCTIONS, OFFICIAL BID FORM AND OFFICIAL ST1\TEJVIENT RELATIVE TO $l,500,OOO CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, WATERWORKS AND SEWER SYSTEM CERTIFICATES OF OBLIGATION, SERIES 1984, AUTHORIZING FIRST SOUTHWEST COMPANY TO DISTRIBUTE NOTICE OF SALE AND BIDDING INSTRUCTIONS,OFFICIAL BID FORM AND OFFICIAL STATEMENT TO PROSPECTIVE BIDDERS FOR, AND PURCHASERS OF, THE CERTIFICA'rES; AL\JD DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the city Council of the City of San Marcos, Texas desires to receive bids for the purchase of its $l,500,000 Waterworks and Sewer System Certificates of Obligation, Series 1984; and, WHEREAS, First Southwest Company, Austin/Dallas, Texas, has been authorized and requested to prepare a Notice of Sale and Bidding Instructions, Official Bid Form and Official Statement containing financial, economic and other data necessary and desirable to attract bids for said Certificates; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: PART l. That the attached Notice of Sale and Bidding Instructions, Official Bid form and Official Statement relative to $1,500,000 City of San Marcos, rI'exas, Waterworks and Sewer System Certificates of Obligation, Series 1984, are hereby approved, both as to form and content, and said First Southwest Company is authorized to distribute said Notice of Sale and Bidding Instructions, Official Bid Form and Official statement to prospective bidders for, and purchasers of, the certificates. PART 2. That this Resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its passage. ADOPTED this 5 day of December , l983. Emmie Craddock Mayor
