On roll call the <br />following vote was recorded: <br /> AYE: Brown, Farr, Craddock, Guerra, Kissler, Nicola. <br /> NAY: None. <br /> ABSTAIN: Coddington. <br />Ms. Kissler moved to amend the Ordinance to approve cost of living in- <br />crease for Civil Service employees as follows: 6% COL for Police; 6% <br />COL for fire to be distributed as follows: 3.5% basic salary and 2.5% <br />overtime payments, totaling $101,266 General Fund, plus 3.5% COL for <br />all other employees of the City, totaling $102,681 General Fund, <br />$46,777 Utility Fund and $5,184 Bond Project Fund and Mr. Nicola se- <br />conded the motion. On roll call the following vote was recorded: <br /> AYE: Brown, Farr, Craddock, Guerra, Kissler, Nicola. <br /> NAY: None. <br /> ABSTAIN: Coddington. <br />Mr. Guerra moved to amend the Ordinance to approve a 3.5% COL increase <br />for A. C. Gonzalez, Lamar Hankins and Janis Womack, Council appointed <br />positions with a merit evaluation to be done in three months and be <br />retroactive to October 1 and Mr. Brown seconded the motion. On roll <br />call the following vote was recorded: <br /> AYE: Brown, Farr, Craddock, Guerra, Kissler, Nicola. <br /> NAY: None. <br /> ABSTAIN: Coddington. <br />Mr. Brown moved to amend the Ordinance to freeze the Municipal Court <br />Judges' salaries until their evaluation is concluded and Ms. Kissler <br />seconded the motion. On roll call the following vote was recorded: <br /> AYE: Brown, Farr, Craddock, Guerra, Kissler, Nicola. <br /> NAY: None. <br /> ABSTAIN: Coddington. <br />Mayor Craddock moved to amend the Ordinance to approve the change in <br />vacation benefits for new employees hired after October 1, 1985 (as <br />outlined on Page 26 of the Compensation/Benefits report) and Mr. Guerra <br />seconded the motion. On roll call the following vote was recorded: <br /> AYE: Brown, Craddock, Guerra, Kissler, Nicola. <br /> NAY: Farr. <br /> ABSTAIN: Coddington. <br />
