119 ORDINANCE 1983-76 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN HARCOS, TEXAS, ANNEXING TO SAID CITY A TRACT OF LAND CONTAINING 1.1 ACRE, MORE OR LESS, OUT OF THE J.M. VERAMENDI SURVEY NO. 2, IN HAYS COUNTY, TEXAS, SAID TRACT BEING LOCATED WITHIN THE EXTRATERRITORIAL JURISDICTION OF SAID CITY AND LYING ADJACENT TO PRESENT CITY BOUNDARIES; APPROVING A SERVICE PLAN FOR SAID TRACT; EXTENDING THE BOUNDARY LIMITS OF SAID CITY SO AS TO INCLUDE SAID TRACT; GRANTING TO THE INHABITANTS OF SAID TRACT ALL THE RIGHTS AND PRIVILEGES OF OTHER CITIZENS OF SAID CITY; BINDING SAID INHABITANTS BY ALL OF THE ACTS AND ORDINANCES, RULES AND REGULATIONS OF SAID CITY AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Marcos, Texas, provided an opportunity for all interested persons to be heard at a public hearing, held on November 14, 1983 to , consider the proposed annexation by the City of San Marcos, Texas, of 1.1 acre, more or less, out of the J.M. Veramendi Survey No.2, Hays County, Texas, and being a portion of that 2.29 acre tract of land conveyed to J.E. Gary and Christine E. Gary by deed dated August 26, 1960, and recorded in Volume 183, Page 289, Hays County Deed Records, and being more particularly described by metes and bounds as follows, to-wit: BEGINNING at a point on the Northeast line of the tract herein described, the Northeast line of the said 2.29 acre tract, same being a Northwest corner of the City Limits of San Marcos as established by Ordinance No. 1981-50; THENCE, with the said City Limits line, S 46 degs. 38' E, 97.33 feet more or less, to a point for the East corner of the tract herein described, same being an re-entrant corner of the said City Limits; THENCE, with the said City Limits line, S 45 degs. 00' W, 187.31 feet more or less, to a point for the South corner of the tract herein described; THENCE, leaving the said City Limits line, with the Southwest line of the said 2.29 acre tract, N 46 degs. 36' W, 277.72 feet more or less, to a point for the West corner of the tract herein described, same being the west corner of the said 2.29 acre tract;
