-2- THENCE, with the Northwest line of the said 2.29 acre tract, N 45 degs. 00' E, 187.56 feet more or less, to a point for the North corner of the tract herein described, same being the North corner of the said 2.29 acre tract; THENCE, with the Northeast line of the said 2.29 acre tract, S 46 degs. 30' 01" E, 180.38 feet more or less, to the POINT OF BEGINNING containing 1.1 acres of 1 and, more or less. í-'JHEREAS, an on-site public hearing has not been requested in writing by more than 20 adults residing in said area; and, WHEREAS, notice of said public hearing was published in the San Marcos Daily Record, a newspaper having general circulation in said City and in the territory proposed for annexation, on 10-30-83 , said date being not more than twenty (20) days nor less than ten (10) days prior to the hearing for which notice was given; and, WHEREAS, prior to the publication of notice of said hearing, the City Council of the City of San Marcos, Texas, directed preparation of a service plan that provides for the extention of municipal services to said area proposed for annexation; and, WHEREAS, said proposed service plan was made available for inspection and explained to the inhabitants of the area to be annexed at said public hearing; and, WHEREAS, said 1.1 acre, more or less, is located within the extraterritorial jurisdiction of the City of San Marcos, Texas, and not within the extraterritorial jurisdiction of any other city; and, WHEREAS, said 1.1 acre, more or less, is contiguous and adjacent to the current boundaries of the City of San Marcos, Texas; now, therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: SECTION 1.
