<br /> -4- <br /> v'ÌHEREAS, said proposed service plan was made available for <br />inspection and explained to the inhabitants of the area to be <br />annexed at said public hearing; and, <br /> WHEREAS, said 47.24 acres, more or less are located within <br />the extraterritorial jurisdiction of the City of San Marcos, <br />Texas, and not within the extraterritorial jurisdiction of any <br />other city; and, <br /> WHEREAS, said 47.24 acres, more or less are contiguous and <br />adjacent to the current boundaries of the City of San Marcos, <br />Texas; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> SECTION 1. That the following described property, being <br />47.24 acres, more or less, adjoining the existing city limits <br />of the City of San Marcos, Texas, out of the Benjamin J. White <br />Survey, the Thomas W. Forsyth Survey and the Lydia Glascow <br />Survey, in Hays County, Texas, same being a part of that 14.58 <br />acre Tract No. One and that 36.75 acre Tract No. Two conveyed <br />by Stella Hageman to Kenneth V. Kraus by deed dated May 1, 1979 <br />and recorded in Volume 325, Page 498 of the Hays County Deed <br />Records and being more particularly described as follows: <br /> COMMENCING at a point for the north corner of the <br /> 14.58 acre Tract One, the east corner of that <br /> 7.45 acre tr ac t of land described in a deed from <br /> Mrs. Cora Wills to John Avey dated December 1, <br /> 1941 and recorded in Volume 123, Page 260 of the <br /> Hays County Deed Records and being in the <br /> southwest line of Ranch Road No. 12; <br /> THENCE with the common line of the Avey tract and <br /> the 14.58 acre Tract One, SlO degs. 30'W 303.76 <br /> feet to a point that is 300 feet from the <br /> southwest line of Ranch Road No. 12 being at the <br /> present city limits line of San Marcos for the <br /> PLACE OF BEGINNING of this tract; <br /> THENCE leaving the PLACE OF BEGINNING and crossing <br /> the 14.58 acre Tract One with a line 300 feet from <br /> and parallel to the southwest line of Ranch Road <br /> No. 12 for the present city limits line, the <br /> following two courses: <br /> 1.
