<br />6 <br />Regular Meeting October 14, 1985 Page 6 <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING SECTION 3 OF THAT ORDINANCE <br /> WHICH REGULATES AND RESTRICTS THE LOCATION AND USE <br /> OF BUILDINGS, STRUCTURES AND LAND, DATED JUNE 13, <br /> 1984 (VOL. 66) BY CHANGING THE ZONING OF LOT 1, THE <br /> CEDARS OF SAN MARCOS, A SUBDIVISION IN THE CITY OF <br /> SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AS SHOWN ON THE MAP OR PLAT THEREOF <br /> RECORDED IN VOLUME 2, PAGE 353, PLAT RECORDS OF HAYS <br /> COUNTY, TEXAS, LOCATED ON 1101 LEAH AVENUE, FROM "M" <br /> (SINGLE, DUPLEX AND NEIGHBORHOOD BUSINESSES DISTRICT) <br /> TO "MF-4" (MULTI-FAMILY DISTRICT); AMENDING THE FUTURE <br /> LAND USE PLAN (MAP) OF THE MASTER PLAN OF SAID CITY <br /> AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />Mayor Craddock opened the public hearing and asked if anyone wished <br />to speak in favor or in opposition to the zoning request. No one <br />did, so Mayor Craddock closed the public hearing. Mr. Farr moved <br />for approval of the Ordinance on first reading and Mr. Nicola second- <br />ed the motion, which passed unanimously (Mr.Coddington was not present <br />to vote on this item). <br />Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration a public hearing and adoption <br />of a Resolution, the caption which was read as follows: <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE FUTURE LAND USE PLAN (MAP) <br /> OF THE MASTER PLAN OF SAID CITY, LOTS l45-A, l46-A, <br /> l56-A, l55-A, l47-A, l53-A, l49-A, l50-A AND l52-A, <br /> BLOCK 25, OF THE RESUBDIVISION OF LOTS 145 THROUGH 156 <br /> OF THE WESTOVER ADDITION, BLOCK 25, TO l45-A, l46-A, <br /> l47-A, l49-A, l50-A, l5l-A, l52-A, l53-A, l55-A AND <br /> l56-A OF THE WESTOVER ADDITION, BLOCK 25, A SUBDIVISION <br /> IN THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AS SHOWN ON THE MAP OR <br /> PLAT THEREOF RECORDED IN VOLUME 2, PAGE 160, PLAT RE- <br /> CORDS OF HAYS COUNTY, TEXAS, AND LOCATED IN THE 1000 <br /> BLOCK OF DARTMOUTH AND COLUMBIA AND THE 1300 BLOCK OF <br /> HAZELTON AND MARLTON FROM LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL TO <br /> MEDIUM DENSITY RESIDENTIAL AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE <br /> DATE. <br />Mayor Craddock opened the public hearing and asked if anyone wished to <br />speak in favor of the land use chang~ Frank Robbins advised the Council <br />the City initiated this change to reflect the existing zoning and land <br />use of the area. No one else wished to speak in favor or in opposition <br />to the land use amendment, so Mayor Craddock closed the public hearing. <br />Ms. Kissler moved for adoption of the Resolution and Mr. Nicola second- <br />ed the motion. On roll call the following vote was recorded: <br /> AYE: Brown, Farr, Craddock, Kissler, Nicola. <br /> NAY: None. <br /> ABSTAIN: Guerra. <br />Mr. Coddington was not present to vote on this item. <br />Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration a public hearing and adoption <br />of a Resolution, the caption which was read as follows: <br />
