<br /> 59 <br /> Regular Meeting October 28, 1985 Page 13 <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING ARTICLE IX SAN MARCOS SUNSET <br /> ADVISORY COMMISSION OF CHAPTER 2 OF THE SAN MARCOS <br /> CODE OF ORDINANCES BY ADDING GOALS FOR THE COMMISSION, <br /> PROVIDING FOR ITS ACTIVATION EVERY THREE YEARS; AND <br /> ESTABLISHING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration adoption of a Resolution, <br /> the caption which was read as follows: <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING FINAL PAYMENT TO CAPITAL CITY <br /> CONTRACTORS, INC., CONTRACTOR, FOR RENOVATION OF PARKS <br /> AND RECREATION BUILDING, PATROL STATION AND OLD FISH <br /> HATCHERY BUILDING IN SAID CITY; ACCEPTING SAID IMPROVE- <br /> MENTS FOR USE BY SAID CITY; AUTHORIZING FINAL PAYMENT IN <br /> THE TOTAL COMBINED AMOUNT OF $9,513.82; AND DECLARING <br /> AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> Mayor Craddock moved for adoption of the Resolution and Mr. Brown se- <br /> conded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration adoption of a Resolution, <br /> the caption which was read as follows: <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS, ESTABLISHING FEES FOR PERSONAL HEALTH <br /> SERVICES PERFORMED BY THE SAN MARCOS-HAYS COUNTY HEALTH <br /> DEP1-l.RTMENT, RAISING FEES FOR FOOD ESTABLISHMENT PERMITS <br /> AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> Mr. Coddington moved for adoption of the Resolution and Mr. Farr se- <br /> conded the motion. City Attorney Hankins advised the Council the <br /> fees for food permits is presently in an Ordinance, and an Ordinance <br /> will come to the Council at a future meeting to delete the fees from <br /> the Ordinance so that they may be amended from time to time in Resolu- <br /> tion form. The Council then voted unanimously for adoption of the <br /> Resolution. <br /> Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration adoption of a Resolution, <br /> the caption which was read as follows: <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS, OPPOSING THE PLACEMENT OF AN OIL PIPE- <br /> LINE ACROSS THE EDWARDS AQUIFER RECHARGE ZONE; AND <br /> DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER TO FORWARD THIS RESOLUTION <br /> TO THE TEXAS RAILROAD COMMISSION, THE HAYS COUNTY COM- <br /> MISSIONERS COURT, THE TEXAS WATER QUALITY BOARD AND THE <br /> EDWARDS UNDERGROUND WATER DISTRICT; AND DECLARING AN <br /> EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> Mr. Brown moved for adoption of the Resolution and Mayor Craddock se- <br /> conded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval to change the <br /> Regular Meeting date of November 11, 1985 to another date (proposed: <br /> November 13, 1985). Mayor Craddock moved to reschedule the November <br /> 11, 1985 Regular Meeting to Thursday, November 14, 1985 at 7:30 p.m. <br /> because November 11 is a holiday for the City. Mr. Brown seconded <br /> the motion. On roll call the following vote was recorded: <br /> AYE: Brown, Coddington, Craddock, Kissler, Nicola. <br /> NAY: Guerra. <br /> ABSTAIN: Farr. <br />
