<br />Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration a public hearing and
<br />adoption of a Resolution, the caption which was read as follows:

<br />OF THE MASTER PLAN OF SAID CITY, FOR THE FOLLOWING

<br />LESS 0.56 ACRES), MORE OR LESS, OF LAND AREA IN THE T.

<br />Mayor Craddock opened the public hearing and asked if anyone wished to
<br />speak in favor of the land use change. Jay Moore was present and ad-
<br />vised the Council Planning and Zoning had both approved the change and
<br />the neighbors of the area were in support of the change. No one else
<br />wished to speak in favor or in opposition to the land use change, so
<br />Mayor Craddock closed the public hearing. Mayor Craddock moved for
<br />adoption of the Resolution and Mr. Farr seconded the motion, which
<br />passed unanimously.

<br />al of an Ordinance on first reading, the caption which was read as fol-
<br />lows:
<br />
<br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
<br />MARCOS, TEXAS, EXPANDING THE FUTURE LAND USE PLAN
<br />(MAP) OF THE MASTER PLAN OF SAID CITY ADOPTED ON MAY
<br />9, 1983 BY ADDING ADDITIONAL AREA THERETO WHICH SHALL
<br />HENCEFORTH BE A PART OF SAID MASTER PLAN AND AMENDING
<br />THE FUTURE LAND USE PLAN (MAP), THE TOTAL AREA FOR SAID
<br />EXPANSION AND AMENDMENT OF SAID MAP BEING COMPOSED OF
<br />514 ACRES, MORE OR LESS, AND BEING LOCATED ON THE EAST
<br />SIDE OF IH-35 NORTH; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

<br />Mayor Craddock opened the ~ublic hearing and asked if anyone wished to
<br />speak in favor or in opposition to the land use amendment. No one did,
<br />so Mayor Craddock closed the public hearing. Mr. Farr moved for approv~
<br />al of the Ordinance on first reading and Mr. Guerra seconded the motion.
<br />On roll call the following vote was recorded:

<br />AYE: Brown, Farr, Craddock, Guerra, Kissler, Nicola.
<br />
<br />NAY: None.
<br />
<br />ABSTAIN: Coddington.
