<br />Craddock closed the public hearing. Mr. Farr moved for approval of
<br />the Ordinance on first reading and Mr. Nicola seconded the motion,
<br />which passed unanimously.

<br />Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration a public hearing and approv-
<br />al of an Ordinance on first reading, the caption which was read as fol-

<br />Mayor CradQock opened the public hearing and asked if anyone wished to
<br />speak in favor or in opposition to the zoning request. ~o one did, so
<br />Mayor Craddock closed the public hearing. Mr. Farr moved for approval
<br />of the Ordinance on first reading and Mr. Guerra seconded the motion,
<br />which passed unani IIDusly.

<br />Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration a public hearing and adoption
<br />of a Resolution, the caption which was read as follows~

<br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
<br />MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE FUTURE LAND USE PLAN (MAP)
<br />OF THE MASTER PLAN OF SAID CITY, FOR THE SOUTHWEST ONE-
<br />HALF (1/2) OF LOT 2, BLOCK 1, C. L. MCGEHEE, A SUBDIVI-
<br />SION IN THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AS SHOWN ON THE
<br />~ffiP OR PLAT THEREOF RECORDED IN VOLUME H, PAGE 573, OF
<br />THE DEED RECORDS OF HAYS COUNTY, TEXAS; AND THE NORTH-
<br />EAST ONE-HALF (1/2) OF LOT 3, BLOCK 1, C. L. MCGEHEE,

<br />Mayor Craddock opened the public hearing and asked if anyone wished to
<br />speak in ~avor of the land use amendment. Patsy Greiner was present
<br />representlng the owner of the property, Kerry Rash. She stated six
<br />off-street parking spaces would be provided. No one else wished to
<br />speak in favor or in opposition to the land use change, so Mayor
<br />Craddock closed the public hearing. Ms. Kissler moved for adoption
<br />of the Resolution, and there was no second. Mr. Nicola moved to deny
<br />the ~esolution, and Mr. Coddington seconded the motion. After more
<br />discussion, Mr. Coddington then withdrew his second to Mr. Nicola's
<br />motion and moved to table consideration of this Resolution and return
<br />the matter to the Planning Commission for the Planning.Commission's
<br />recommendation to amend the land use of the entire block rather than
<br />just this one parcel. Mr. Farr seconded the motion. On roll call the
<br />following vote was recorded:
