Consider approval of Ordinance 2014 -26, on the second of two readings, correcting a <br />clerical error in Ordinance No. 2013 -69 and inserting correct boundary description for <br />Transportation Reinvestment Zone Number One, City of San Marcos; and declaring <br />an effective date. <br />6. Consider approval of Ordinance 2014 -27, on the second of two readings, dedicating <br />fifty percent of its tax increment from the FM 110 Transportation Reinvestment Zone, <br />and approving an Interlocal Agreement with Hays County; and declaring an effective <br />date. <br />7. Consider approval of Resolution 2014 -74R approving an Interlocal Cooperation <br />Agreement with Texas State University providing for coordination and cost sharing in a <br />traffic study at the intersection of North Guadalupe Street and West Woods Street with <br />a participation amount by the City of $24,750.00; and declaring an effective date. <br />A motion was made by Council Member Thomason, seconded by Council Member Scott, that <br />this Resolution be postponed to the June 17, 2014 Regular City Council Meeting. The motion <br />carried by the following vote: <br />For: 6 - Mayor Pro -Tem Thomaides, Deputy Mayor Pro Tern Becak, Council Member <br />Thomason, Council Member Scott, Council Member Prather and Council Member <br />Prewitt <br />Against: 0 <br />Absent: 1 - Mayor Guerrero <br />8. Consider approval of Resolution 2014 -75R awarding an annual contract for Tree <br />Trimming and Pruning Services to Asplundh Tree Expert Company in the estimated <br />annual amount of $50,140.00 for the Community Services Department, Parks and <br />Recreation Division and the Public Services Department, Transportation Division <br />contingent upon the bidder's timely submission of sufficient insurance in accordance <br />with the City's bid documents; authorizing the City Manager or his designee to execute <br />the appropriate purchasing documents on behalf of the City; and declaring an <br />effective date. <br />A motion was made by Council Member Scott, seconded by Council Member Prewitt, that this <br />Resolution be approved.
