Mayor Narvaiz read a letter from a city customer praising Rafaela Cruz with the Water /Wastewater for her hard work. She stated the individuals who host the Bethlehem Village at Sights and Sounds is hosting a Bethlehem Banquet. She stated this is being held at the Hill Country Christian School on Saturday, September 8, 2007. Mayor Narvaiz introduced for consideration approval of minutes of the Regular Meeting held July 17, 2007, approval of minutes of the Special Meeting held July 24, 2007, approval of two Ordinances on second reading and adoption of eight Resolutions, on consent. The Council pulled Items 17 and 20, adoption of Resolution to be considered separately. Mr. Thomaides moved for approval of minutes of the Regular Meeting held July 17, 2007, approval of minutes of Special Meeting held July 24, 2007, approval of two Ordinances on second reading and adoption of the remaining six Resolutions, on consent, and Mr. Jones seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. The captions of the Ordinance and Resolutions read as follows: Approval of Ordinances on second reading: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, ANNEXING TO THE CITY A TRACT OF LAND CONTAINING 30.15 ACRES, MORE OR LESS, LOCATED WEST OF IH -35 BETWEEN POSEY AND CENTERPOINT ROADS (CORRIDOR BUSINESS PARK); APPROVING A SERVICE PLAN FOR THIS TRACT; AND INCLUDING PROCEDURAL PROVISIONS. AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, ADOPTING A REVISED SAN MARCOS HORIZONS CITY MASTER PLAN SECTOR SIX PLAN AND SECTOR SEVEN PLAN; INCLUDING PROCEDURAL PROVISIONS; AND PROVIDING FOR PENALTIES.
