City Council Meeting Minutes June 3, 2014 direction to Staff. Jennifer Shell, City Engineer presented the10 Year CIP, as recommended by the Planning and Zoning Commission, to the City Council. 19. Receive a Staff presentation and hold discussion regarding Substation screening, and provide direction to Staff. Greg Troxell, Assistant Director of Public Services, provided a brief presentation to the Council. Council provided direction to bring back the cost for a masonry wall similar to Loop 82/IH35 underpass wall and vegetative screening. 20. Hold discussion regarding an unintended consequence created by Ordinance 2014 -17, amending Section 4.069, Absence from Meeting related to Board and Commission members, and provide direction to Staff. Direction was given to staff to bring back at a later date to strike the excused absence "Vacation" 21. Consider the approval, by motion, of an appointment, to fill a vacancy, on the Sunset Advisory Commission by Mayor Pro Tern John Thomaides. A motion was made by Mayor Pro-Tern Thomaides, seconded by Council Member Thomason, to appoint Gaylord Bose to the Sunset Advisory Commission. The motion carried by the following vote: For: 7 - Mayor Guerrero, Mayor Pro -Tem Thomaides, Deputy Mayor Pro Tem Becak, Council Member Thomason, Council Member Scott, Council Member Prather and Council Member Prewitt Against: 0 VIII.
