City Council Meeting Minutes June 17, 2014 <br />that Resolution 2014 -91 R be approved. The motion carried by the following vote: <br />For: 6 - Mayor Guerrero, Mayor Pro -Tem Thomaides, Deputy Mayor Pro Tern Becak, <br />Council Member Thomason, Council Member Scott and Council Member Prewitt <br />Against: 0 <br />Absent: 1 - Council Member Prather <br />19. Receive a Staff presentation regarding proposed changes to the Wayfinding Sign <br />design, and provide direction to Staff. <br />Sabas Avila, Assistant Director of Public Services - Transportation Division, provided the Council <br />with an update on the Wayfinding Sign design and asked for their approval on a new design that <br />was being proposed by TXDot. After discussion the Council provided direction to move forward <br />with the newly proposed design. <br />20. Hold discussion regarding the recommendation of the Affordable Housing <br />Subcommittee's proposed Affordable / Workforce Housing Policy, and provide <br />direction to Staff. <br />Janis Hendrix, Community Initiatives Program Administrator, provided a brief presentation to <br />Council regarding the Affordable Housing Subcommittee's proposed Affordable/Workforce <br />Housing Policy. Following discussion the Council provided consensus to bring back a <br />resolution to formally adopt the policy on the July 1, 2014 meeting agenda. <br />VIII. Question and Answer Session with Press and Public. <br />IX. Adjournment. <br />A motion was made by Council Member Scott, seconded by Council Member Prewitt, to adjourn <br />the regular meeing of the San Marcos City Council at 10 :13 p.m. The motion carried by the <br />following vote: <br />For: 6 - Mayor Guerrero, Mayor Pro -Tem Thomaides, Deputy Mayor Pro Tern Becak, <br />Council Member Thomason, Council Member Scott and Council Member Prewitt <br />Against: 0 <br />Absent: 1 - Council Member Prather <br />City of San Marcos Page 8 <br />niel uer re- ayor <br />
