Unfortunatley the list of questions was unsigned except <br />for a reference to a "Group of Concerned Citizens." I trust that <br />these folks are citizens of the San Marcos area who are available <br />for me to speak with as necessary, rather than folks who live <br />elsewhere. <br /> <br />In looking over the questions there seems to be a pattern of someone <br />wishing to delve into philosophical and political areas that are well <br />beyond the scope of CTEC. For the record, CTEC is a new business that <br />is the result of a joint venture that will run on its own providing <br />reinforced plastic engine parts (components) for turbine engines for <br />all manufacturers of these types of engines. This Joint Venture <br />is separate from either GE or Rohr in that the responsibility for the <br />selection, plant location and construction, and its safe operation <br />belongs to the CTEC President. In this regard as pertaining to the <br />list of questions, as CTEC President, I can only speak for CTEC. <br />Therefore, I have attempted to extract from each question those <br />elements which pertain to CTEC and provide an answer. <br /> <br />I hope that my answers help clarify in the minds of all San Marcos <br />and Hays County residents that CTEC is committed to its new home <br />and will be working to become a responsible, contributing member <br />of the local community. <br /> <br />Should additional questions arise, please forward them and I will <br />work with you to provide answers. <br /> <br />Sincerely, <br /> <br />~\ <br />I \ <br />. .
