ANSWERS TO QUESTIONS ABOUT CTEC

I. What is CTEC's environmental policy and how does that relate
to its parent corporations?
As a new, independent venture, CTEC will develop its own environ-
mental practices and record. CTEC is environmentally conscious
and concerned and will work with the appropriate agencies at the
local, county,' state and federal levels to be familiar with and to
comply with all applicable environmental regulations.
2. Will CTEC move toward producing more commercial products and
less military?
The aerospace market has two major elements -- commercial and
government. CTEC was established to serve the entire market
worldwide. Thus, the company will manufacture jet engine components
which meet market demands. The current aerospace market strength
is in the commerical area. We expect, as CTEC becomes established,
that the mixture of products the company manufactures will reflect
increasing emphasis toward commercial market activity.
3. ývhat lS CTEC's position on ethical behavior?
It is CTEC's intention to develop and live by sound ethical
standards in all its business practices. To achieve this, CTEC
will have discussions with customers, government agencies and
employees to become familiar with those practices that experience
has determined work well and avoid ethical questions. CTEC will
also educate its employees about these practices and urge employees
to bring promptly to management's attention any question or situa-
tion where they believe the company's and/or the industry's ethical
standards may be compromised.
4. What is CTEC's policy on possible "revolving door" conflicts
of interest?
CTEC's position was defined in general terms as mentioned in the
answer to the previous question about ethical standards. There
are numerous government regulations addressing the "revolving
door" isRue. CTEC will make itself thoroughly familiar with those
regulations and abide by them in the event the company encounters
circumstances to which these regulations apply.
