CONSENT AGENDA A motion was made by Deputy Mayor Pro Tern Becak, seconded by Council Member Scott, that the consent agenda be approved, with the exception of items # 12 and 14, which were pulled and considered separately, and item #13 which was postponed. Consider approval of the following: August 29, 2014, Special Called Meeting Minutes September 2, 2014, Regular Meeting Minutes 7. Consider approval of Resolution 2014 -122R reappointing Charles P. Anderson, M.D. as the Local Health Authority; approving the appointment letter engaging Dr. Anderson in this capacity; and declaring an effective date. 8. Consider approval of Resolution 2014 -123R authorizing the sale of a 2005 Ford Crown Victoria police vehicle to the City of Martindale for a price of $1,500.00; authorizing the City Manager to execute any and all documents as necessary to transfer title to and sell the vehicle to the City of Martindale; and declaring effective date. 9. Consider approval of Resolution 2014 -124R awarding an annual contract to Knight Office Solutions for the provision of printer maintenance for the City's printers in the estimated annual amount of $52,415.19; authorizing the City Manager or his designee to execute contract documents on behalf of the City; and declaring an effective date. 10. Consider approval of Resolution 2014 -125R approving the purchase of a 2015 Altec Service Truck with Crane Attachment for the Public Services Department- Water /Wastewater Division from Altec Industries, Inc. through the Texas Comptroller of Public Account's Texas Multiple Award Schedule for Construction Equipment and Attachments (TXMAS #- 11- 23V050) in the amount of $73,510.00; authorizing the City Manager or his designee to execute the appropriate purchasing documents on behalf of the City; and declaring an effective date. 11. Consider approval of Resolution 2014 -126R confirming the City Manager's appointment of Kathleen Dial to the San Marcos Civil Service Commission; and declaring an effective date. 12. Consider approval of Resolution 2014 -127R approving an agreement between the City and Easter Seals - Central Texas as certified by TIBH Industries, Inc. for vegetation control, debris removal and landscape maintenance in a not to exceed amount of $777,775.22; authorizing the City Manager or his designee to execute this City of San Marcos Page 3
