ATTACHMENT A <br />CITY OF SAN MARCOS <br />CRYSTAL CLEAR CCN WATER LINE IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />recommendation. In the case of unit price work, KIMLEY- HORN's recommendations of payment <br />will include determinations of quantities and classifications of Contractor's work, based on <br />observations and measurements of quantities provided with pay requests. Review of six (6) Pay <br />Applications has been assumed. <br />7. Review of Change Orders: KIMLEY -HORN may recommend Change Orders to Client, and will <br />review and make recommendations related to Change Orders submitted or proposed by the <br />Contractor. <br />8. Substantial Completion: KIMLEY -HORN will, promptly after notice from Contractor that it <br />considers the entire Work ready for its intended use, in company with Client and Contractor, <br />conduct a site visit to determine if the Work is substantially complete. Work will be considered <br />substantially complete following satisfactory completion of all items with the exception of those <br />identified on a final punch list. If after considering any objections of Client, KIMLEY -HORN <br />considers the Work substantially complete, KIMLEY -HORN will notify Client and Contractor. <br />9. Final Notice of Acceptability of the Work: KIMLEY -HORN will conduct a final site visit to <br />determine if the completed Work of Contractor is generally in accordance with the Contract <br />Documents and the final punch list so that KIMLEY -HORN may recommend, in writing, final <br />payment to Contractor. Accompanying the recommendation for final payment, KIMLEY -HORN <br />will also provide a notice that the Work is generally in accordance with the Contract Documents to <br />the best of KIMLEY- HORN's knowledge, information, and belief based on the extent of its <br />services and based upon information provided to KIMLEY -HORN upon which it is entitled to rely. <br />10. Deliverables: <br />a. Site Visit Reports: KIMLEY -HORN will submit a site visit report to the City following each <br />visit to the site during construction. <br />b. Submittal Log: KIMLEY -HORN will prepare a spreadsheet for identifying required <br />submittals that the Contractor must provide as well as tracking to -date submittals and <br />RFI's provided by the Contractor. An updated Submittal Log will be submitted to the City <br />on a monthly basis. <br />Phase E — Record Drawings <br />1. Record Drawings: KIMLEY -HORN will review the Contractor's redline as -built drawings and <br />incorporate deviations from the construction drawings as appropriate. Record drawing <br />information will be based solely on the provided marked -up drawings and appropriate field <br />documentation received from the City. KIMLEY -HORN will deliver one (1) set of full size bond <br />drawings and one (1) set of half size plan set for review. <br />2. Deliverables: After review, KIMLEY -HORN will deliver two (2) sets of full size bond drawings, one <br />(1) pdf electronic copy and one (1) CAD copy. <br />Supplemental Scope of Services <br />1. Additional Easement/Land Acquisition: KIMLEY -HORN will provide up to four (4) additional <br />permanent easements and /or temporary easements. The City will prepare the agreements and <br />handle the acquisitions. <br />KIMLEY -HORN will provide three (3) copies of each permanent and /or temporary easement <br />document, to the City. In addition, one (1) copy will be provided in Adobe Acrobat PDF format. <br />7 <br />
