He <br />also stated with this change the neighborhood residents can not park on the <br />street anytime day or night. Mr. Thomaides stated he feels the Council <br />needs to act on emergency to improve the quality of life in these <br />neighborhoods. Mr. Quittner stated the Council can approve on first <br />reading and at the next meeting this Ordinance can come back on emergency. <br />The Council then voted unanimously for approval of the Ordinance on first <br />reading. <br />Mayor Narvaiz introduced City Council direction on future agenda items. 1) <br />Betsy Robertson stated she would like to hold a discussion regarding Board <br />and Commission reports. 2) Mr. Thomaides stated he would like to hold a <br />discussion regarding future agenda items. <br />Mayor Narvaiz introduced an Executive Session pursuant to the Government <br />Code, Section 551.087, to discuss commercial or financial information the <br />City has received from a business prospect that the City seeks to have <br />locate, stay or expand in or near the City and with which the City is <br />conducting economic development negotiations, or to deliberate the offer of <br />a financial or other incentive to such a business prospect (Development <br />Proposal— Hunter Road Area; Uhland Road Area; San Marcos Area Chamber of <br />Commerce). The Council adjourned into Executive Session at 10:48 p.m. <br />Mayor Narvaiz announced the Council would reconvene at 11:53 p.m. <br />Mayor Narvaiz introduced for consideration adoption or direction to Staff <br />about matters discussed in Executive Session. Mr. O'Leary stated the <br />Council received an update on business prospect negotiations in the Hunter <br />Road area and in the Uhland Road area.
