Mayor Narvaiz called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. Mayor Narvaiz stated this Meeting was scheduled for Tuesday, January 16, 2007, but was postpone until January 18, 2007, due to weather. Mayor Narvaiz introduced an Executive Session pursuant to the Government Code, Section 551.071, to seek the City Attorney's advice regarding pending litigation, contemplated litigation, a settlement offer, or a matter involving attorney- client privilege (City of San Marcos vs. Carson); and Section 551.087, to discuss commercial or financial information the City has received from a business prospect that the City seeks to have locate, stay or expand in or near the City and with which the City is conducting * Mr. Bose arrived at 6:10 p.m.
