City Council Meeting Minutes October 6, 2014 <br />10. Consider approval of Resolution 2014 -135R approving the terms and conditions of an <br />Interlocal Cooperation Agreement between Caldwell County and the City of San <br />Marcos for Subdivision Regulation within the Extraterritorial Jurisdiction of the City of <br />San Marcos; authorizing the City Manager to execute this agreement on behalf of the <br />City; and declaring an effective date. <br />11. Consider approval of Resolution 2014 -136R approving the purchase of mechanical <br />and electrical services in connection with the San Marcos Police Department <br />( "SMPD ") Evidence Storage Room -HVAC Modification Project from Brandt <br />Companies, LLC through the Texas Comptroller of Public Account's Texas Multiple <br />Award Schedule for Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing Services <br />(TXMAS #- 10- 03FAC070) in the amount of $65,160.00; authorizing the City Manager <br />or his designee to execute the appropriate purchasing documents on behalf of the <br />City and declaring an effective date. <br />12. Consider approval of Resolution 2014 -137R approving an agreement between the <br />City of San Marcos and Kimley -Horn and Associates, Inc. for the provision of <br />Professional Engineering Services in connection with the Crystal Clear CCN <br />(Certificate of Convenience and Necessity) Water Line Improvements Project in an <br />amount not to exceed $156,955.00 contingent upon the consultant's provision of <br />sufficient insurance in accordance with the attached agreement; authorizing the City <br />Manager or his designee to execute this agreement on behalf of the City; and <br />declaring an effective date. <br />13. Consider approval of Resolution 2014 -138R approving the award <br />of a <br />construction <br />contract to the Lower Colorado <br />River Authority for the San <br />Marcos <br />Substation <br />Transformer Replacement Project in <br />the amount of $2,092,415.00; <br />through <br />the City's <br />Technical Services Agreement with <br />the Lower Colorado River Authority; <br />authorizing <br />the City Manager to execute all <br />contract documents on behalf <br />of the <br />City and <br />declaring an effective date. <br />14. Consider approval of Resolution <br />2014 -139R <br />awarding an annual contract to Accurate <br />Pavement Striping, LLC for the <br />provision of <br />fabrication and installation <br />of wayfinding <br />signs for the Public Services <br />Department - Transportation Division in <br />the estimated <br />annual amount of $185,343.20; <br />authorizing <br />the City Manager or his <br />designee to <br />execute the appropriate contract <br />documents <br />on behalf of the City; and <br />declaring an <br />effective date. <br />15. Consider approval of Resolution 2014 -14OR approving the terms and conditions of an <br />Interlocal Agreement with the Capital Area Emergency Communications District for <br />Public Safety Answering Point Maintenance, Equipment Upgrade and Training; <br />authorizing the City Manager or his designee to execute this Interlocal Agreement on <br />behalf of the City; and declaring an effective date. <br />16. Consider approval of Resolution 2014 -141 R approving an Interlocal Cooperation <br />Agreement with Texas State University that provides for the City of San Marcos to <br />obtain a traffic study of the intersection of Sessom Drive and Academy Street at a cost <br />City of San Marcos Page 4 <br />
