To promote stability of office building <br />developments; to strengthen the economic <br />base of the City; to protect the character <br />of the district and adjacent districts; to <br />conserve the value of land and buildings; <br />and to protect the city's tax base; <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />8. To promote the most efficient use of city <br />facilities and services. <br /> <br />B. Permitted Uses: <br /> <br />1. Office buildings for professional occupa- <br />tions including executive, administrative, <br />legal, accounting, writing, clerical, <br />stenographic, drafting and real estate <br /> <br />2. Medical offices, including clinics and <br />hospitals where all activities are con- <br />ducted wi thin a totally enclosed: !building <br /> <br />3. Funeral homes <br /> <br />4. Banks, credit unions, savings and loan <br />associations <br /> <br />5. Other uses similar to the above <br /> <br />6. An accessory use customarily related to a <br />principal use authorized in this district <br />such as pharmacy or apothecary shop; stores <br />limited to corrective garments or bandages, <br />or optical company or eating establishments <br />accessory to the office complex for the <br />convenience of the occupants and clients may <br />be permitted, provided it is within the build- <br />ing to which it is accessory and does not have <br />a direct outside entrance for customers <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />7. Accessory drive-in uses for Uses B.l through <br />B.6 <br /> <br />8. Parking lots <br /> <br />C. Prohibited Uses: <br /> <br />1. Any building erected or land used for other <br />than one or more of the preceding specified <br />uses. <br /> <br />2. Any use of pr9P~rty that does not meet the <br />required minimum lot size, fr@nt, side and I <br />rear yard dimension; and/or lot width; or <br />exceeds the maximum height, building coverage <br />or density per gross acre as required. <br /> <br />SECTION 3. That the importance of this ordinance creates <br />and emergency and an imperative purpose necessary t.,at the provisions <br />of the charter requiring that ordinances shall be read on three <br />separate meetings and that no ordinances shall become effective <br />until the expiration of ten (10) days following the date of its <br />final passage be suspended, and these provisions are hereby suspended, <br />
