<br />Mayor Morris opened the public hearing and asked if anyone wished
<br />to speak for or against the Zoning amendment. No one did, so
<br />Mayor Morris closed the public hearing. Mr. Hart moved for
<br />adoption of the Zoning Ordinance and Ms. Kissler seconded the
<br />motion, which passed unanimously.
<br />Mayor Morris introduced for consideration a public hearing and
<br />adoption of a Zoning Ordinance, the caption which was read as
<br />follows:
<br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS,
<br />TEXAS, AMENDING SECTION 3 OF THAT ORDINANCE WHICH REGULATES
<br />AND RESTRICTS THE LOCATION ANQ USE OF BUILDINGS, STRUCTURES
<br />AND LAND, DATED JUNE 13, 1984 (VOL. 66) BY CHANGING THE
<br />ZONING OF LOT A OF SIMPSON'S REARRANGEMENT OF LOTS 21, 26,
<br />35 AND 40 OF THE A. M. RAMSAY SUBDIVISION, HAYS COUNTY,
<br />TEXAS, AS RECORDED IN VOLUME 2, PAGE 206 OF THE HAYS COUNTY
<br />PLAT RECORDS, A/K/A 409 MILL STREET, FROM "M"
<br />(SINGLE-FAMILY, DUPLEX AND NEIGHBORHOOD BUSINESS DISTRICT)
<br />TO "DP-2" (TWO-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT [MEDIUM DENSITY]);
<br />AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
<br />Mayor Morris opened the public hearing and asked if anyone wished

<br />Mayor Morris closed the public hearing. Mr. Hernandez moved for
<br />adoption of the Zoning Ordinance and Ms. Kissler seconded the
<br />motion, which passed unanimously.

<br />UNZONEDPROPERTY TO A ZONING DESIGNATION OF "PD"
<br />(PRE-DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT), BEING 196 ACRES, MORE OR LESS,
<br />OF LAND AREA IN HAYS COUNTY, TEXAS, LOCATED ALONG THE
<br />SOUTHEAST SIDE OF THE 700-1100 BLOCKS OF RIVER ROAD; AND
<br />DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
<br />Mayor Morris opened the public hearing and asked if anyone wished
<br />to speak for or against the Zoning amendment. No one did, so
<br />Mayor Morris closed the public hearing. Ms. Kissler moved for
<br />adoption of the Zoning Ordinance and Mr. Plummer seconded the
<br />motion, which passed unanimously.
<br />It was consensus of Council to move to Item 16 on the Agenda, a
<br />discussion and direction to Staff regarding a Tax Abatement
<br />Agreement with Prime Group, Inc./VF Factory Outlets, Inc.
