Mayor Narvaiz called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. Mayor Narvaiz introduced an Executive Session pursuant to the Government Code, Section 551.071, to seek the City Attorney's advice regarding pending litigation, contemplated litigation, a settlement offer, or a matter involving attorney-client privilege (Bumb vs. City of San Marcos; McCarty/Loop 110 Project; hotel occupancy tax); Sections 551.072 and 551.073, to discuss exchange of real property (proposed property exchange - 14 acre tract of City property in 1200-1300 Blocks of IH35 North); and to discuss value of real property (McCarty Lane area); and Section 551.087, to discuss commercial or financial information the City has received from a business prospect that the City seeks to have locate, stay or expand in or near the City and with which the City is conducting economic development OF THE MARCOS,
