<br />the CIty'S governing body is necessary for all addItIonal services the compensation for which <br />exceeds $50,000.00. <br /> <br />ARTICLE 2 <br />THE CITY'S RESPONSIBILITIES <br /> <br />The City will: <br /> <br />2.1 Provide full information to the Engineer regardIng the City's requirements for the <br />Engineer's services under this Agreement. The City WIll furnIsh the EngIneer with copies of <br />official CIty design standards and construction standards, and other data and information in the <br />City's posseSSIon needed by the Engineer at the EngIneer's request. The Engineer is not <br />responsible for the errors or omIssions in the information provided by third partIes who are not <br />bona fide subconsultants to the Engineer and which information is incorporated into the record <br />drawings. <br /> <br />2.2 Provide flow monItoring data and any preVIOUS reports completed that are associated with <br />future flow and capacIty requirements for Project related conveyance systems. <br /> <br />2.3 Be responsible for the payment of all advertisements and notices for the Project Including <br />the issuance of addenda. <br /> <br />2.4 Designate Laurie Anderson, Assistant City Manager, as the CIty'S Project Manager and <br />authorized representative to act on the City's behalf with respect to this Agreement. The City <br />will examine the documents and information submitted by the Engineer and promptly render <br />responses to the EngIneer on issues requinng a deCIsion by the City. <br /> <br />2.5 Provide access to and make all necessary provisions for the Engineer to enter the Project <br />site as well as other public and private property as required for the EngIneer to perform its <br />services under this Agreement and will provIde labor and safety equipment as required by the <br />Engineer for such access. <br /> <br />2.6 Provide prompt notIce to the EngIneer when the CIty becomes aware of any development <br />that affects the scope or timing of Engineer's services, or of any defect in the work of the <br />EngIneer or the Contractor. <br /> <br />2.7 Produce CD copies of the contract documents for dIstribution to potential bidders. <br /> <br />2.8 Employ independent firms for the material testing, specialty inspection, construction, or <br />other services related to verifYIng the quality of the Contractor's work. The City will contract <br />for geotechnical services in a timely manner as requested by the Engineer. <br /> <br />2.9 Bear all costs inCIdental to this Article. <br /> <br />Wet Weather Improvements Project - CH2M Hill <br /> <br />15 <br />
