l25 Special Meeting February l7, 1988 Page 5 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE AND SALE OF CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, GENERAL OBLIGATION BONDS, SERIES 1988, IN THE AGGREGATE PRINCIPAL AMOUNT OF $l,660,OOO, PRESCRIBING THE FORM OF SAID BONDS; PRO- VIDING FOR THE SECURITY FOR AND PAYMENT OF SAID BONDS; AWARDING THE SALE THEREOF; APPROVING THE OFFICIAL STATEMENT; AND ENACTING OTHER PROVISIONS RELATING TO THE SUBJECT; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. Mr. Guerra moved for adoption of the Ordinance on emergency and Ms. Kissler seconded the motion. Mr. Farr moved to amend the Ordin- ance on Page 5, Section 3.02(b) to add the following interest rates: 1990 1991 1992 1993 1994 1995 1996 1997 9.40% 9.40% 9.40% 9.40% 9.40% 9.40% 6.40% 6.50% 1998 1999 2000 200l 2002 2003 2004 6.70% 6.90% 7.00% 7.00% 7.00% 7.00% 6.50% and on Page 26, Section l3.0l to read as follows: liThe Bonds are hereby officially sold and awarded to Prudential Bache Securities, Inc., and Associates, at a price of par, plus accrued interest from the date of the Bonds to the Closing Date, and a premium of $-0-. . . .," and Mr. Hernandez seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. The Council then voted unanimously for adoption of the Ordinance on emergency.
