City Council Meeting Minutes November 5, 2014 <br />18. Discuss and consider the appointment of Roxie McInnis as the Hays County <br />Representative to the Main Street Board, and provide direction to Staff. <br />A motion was made by Deputy Mayor Pro Tern Becak, seconded by Council Member Prewitt, that <br />the appointment of Roxie McInnis be approved. The motion carried by the following vote: <br />For: 5 - Mayor Guerrero, Mayor Pro -Tem Thomaides, Deputy Mayor Pro Tern Becak, <br />Council Member Scott and Council Member Prewitt <br />Against: 0 <br />Absent: 2 - Council Member Thomason and Council Member Prather <br />19. Hold discussion regarding topics to be discussed at the future Drought Ordinance <br />Workshop, and provide direction to Staff. <br />The Council provided the following topics for discussion at the future water use and <br />conservation workshop: <br />• Comparison of GBRA's Drought Ordinance <br />• CUAB's recommendation on this issue <br />• Varying scenarios for watering schedules during different seasons /weather periods of the year <br />• Add 30 minute citizen comment period to the agenda <br />• Collect citizen questions /comments through online surveys <br />• Provide the previous citizen survey information that was compiled in 2012 <br />VI.
