52 MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, APRIL 25, 1988 PRESENT: Mayor J. E. Younger Mayor Pro-Tern Council Members * Gerald G. Farr Karl N. Mayor Younger called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. Mayor Younger introduced for consideration approval of the minutes of the Regular Meeting held April 11, 1988. Mr. Brown moved for approval of the minutes and Ms. Kissler seconded the motion. On roll call the following vote was recorded: AYE: Brown, Guerra, Younger, Hernandez, Kissler. NAY: None. ABSTAIN: Nicola. Mayor Younger introduced for consideration approval of two appointments to the Main Street Advisory Board. No nominations were received and the Council directed the appointments be scheduled for May 9. Mayor Younger introduced for consideration approval of an appointment of an architect to the Historic Preservation Commission to complete the vacancy of Martha Latta. Mayor Younger moved to appoint Craig Grassle and Ms. Kissler seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mayor Younger introduced for consideration approval of two appointments to the Zoning Board of Adjustments and Appeals. Mr. Guerra moved to appoint David Williford and Mayor Younger seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. The Council directed the other appointment be scheduled May 9. Mayor Younger introduced for consideration a public hearing and approval of an Ordinance on first reading, the caption which was read as follows: * Mr. Farr present at 8:20 p.m.
