I'ffl.l <br />S IN MAYLCOS <br />Tuesday, November 18, 2014 <br />fI�4F1 roxe7'i rm <br />City of San Marcos <br />Meeting Minutes <br />City Council <br />5:30 PM <br />630 East Hopkins <br />San Marcos, TX 78666 <br />City Council Chambers <br />With a quorum present, the regular meeting of the San Marcos City Council was called to order <br />by Mayor Daniel Guerrero at 5:32 p.m. Tuesday, November 18, 2014 in the City Council <br />Chambers, 630 East Hopkins, San Marcos, Texas 78666. <br />II. Roll Call <br />Present: 7 - Mayor Daniel Guerrero, Council Member John Thomaides, Council Member Ryan <br />Thomason, Deputy Mayor Pro Tern Shane Scott, Mayor Pro -Tem Jude Prather, <br />Council Member Lisa Prewitt and Council Member Jane Hughson <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION <br />1. 5:30PM <br />Executive Session in accordant e <br />Code: Real Property - deliberate <br />San Marcos River; and in <br />Government Code: Real Property <br />land located off of Prospect Street. <br />with Section §551.072 of the Texas Government <br />regarding the possible acquisition of land along the <br />accordance with Section §551.072 of the Texas <br />- deliberate regarding the possible acquisition of <br />A motion was made by Council Member Thomason, seconded by Deputy Mayor Pro Tern Scott, <br />to adjourn into Executive Session at approximately 5:33 p.m.. The motion carried by the <br />following vote: <br />For: 7 - Mayor Guerrero, Council Member Thomaides, Council Member Thomason, <br />Deputy Mayor Pro Tern Scott, Mayor Pro-Tern Prather, Council Member Prewitt <br />and Council Member Hughson <br />Against: 0 <br />2. Consider adoption or direction to Staff on matters discussed in Executive Session. <br />The Council reconviened into regular session at approximately 6:15 p.m. Council provided <br />direction to Staff in Executive Session. <br />PRESENTATIONS <br />3. Receive a Staff update and hold discussion regarding the Sessom Bike /Pedestrian <br />and Peques Improvements Project, and provide direction to Staff. <br />Laurie Moyer, Director of Engineering /CIP, provided the Council with a presentation regarding <br />the Sessom Bike /Pedestrian and Peques Improvements Project. Following discussion Staff will <br />provide more data and details requested by Council through a future City Manager Weekly <br />City of San Marcos Page 1 <br />
