7. By this Agreement, the Parties desire to establish, among other things, terms and conditions <br />of the City's limited purpose annexation of certain lands comprising the community <br />commercial portion of the District, as described in this Agreement and in accordance with <br />the Act. <br />8. The District provided notice of two public hearings concerning the adoption of this <br />Agreement in accordance with the procedural requirements of Section 43.0751 of the Local <br />Government Code. <br />9. The District conducted two public hearings regarding this Agreement in accordance with <br />procedural requirements of Section 43.0751 of the Local Government Code on <br />120 1 at o'clock p.m., at and <br />on , 201 at o'clock p.m. at <br />10. The City provided notice of two public hearings concerning the adoption of this Agreement <br />in accordance with the procedural requirements of Section 43.0751 of the Local <br />Government Code. <br />11. The City conducted two public hearings regarding this Agreement in accordance with <br />procedural requirements of Section 43.0751 of the Local Government Code on <br />, 201_ at o'clock p.m., at the City Council Chambers and on <br />201 at o'clock p.m., at the City Council Chambers. <br />12. The District has, by formal action, after public hearings, approved this Agreement on <br />,201 in open session at a meeting held in accordance with the Open <br />Meetings Act. <br />13. The City has, by formal action, after public hearings, approved this Agreement on <br />in open session at a meeting held in accordance with the Open Meetings <br />Act. <br />14. All procedural requirements imposed by state law for the adoption of this Agreement have <br />been met. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, for and in consideration of the mutual agreements, covenants, and <br />conditions contained in this Agreement, and other good and valuable consideration, the City and <br />the District agree as follows: <br />ARTICLE I <br />DEFINITIONS, PURPOSE, AND LEGAL AUTHORITY <br />Section 1.01 Terms Defined in this Agreement.
