<br />Mayor Morris called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m.
<br />
<br />Mayor Morris introduced for consideration approval of an appointment
<br />to the Human Services P,gency Board to complete a vacancy. Mr. Moore
<br />moved to appoint Marilyn Majors and Mr. Hernandez seconded the motion,
<br />which passed unanimously (Mr. Guerra not present to vote on this item).

<br />Mayor Morris introduced for consideration a public hearing and adoption
<br />of a Zoning Ordinance, the caption which was read as follows:

<br />MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING SECTION 3 OF THAT ORDINANCE
<br />vlliICH REGULATES AND RESTRICTS THE LOCATION AND USE
<br />OF BUILDINGS, STRUCTURES AND LAND, DATED JUNE 13,
<br />1984 (VOL. 66) BY CHANGING THE ZONING OF 2.22 ACRES,
<br />MORE OR LESS, OF LAND AREA OUT OF THE J. M. VERAMENDI
<br />SURVEY NO. ONE (1), HAYS COUNTY, TEXAS, BEING THE SAME
<br />REAL PROPERTY AS IS DENOMINATED '~SECOND TRACT" IN THAT
<br />DEED FROM E. M. CAPE, ET UX, TO HORACE CAPE, DATED
<br />AUGUST 3, 1945, AND RECORDED IN VOLUME 133, PAGES

<br />Mayor Morris opened the public hearing and asked if anyone wished to
<br />speak for or against the amendment. No one did, so Mayor Morris closed
