Mayor Narvaiz called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. Mayor Narvaiz introduced an Executive Session pursuant to the Government Code, Section 551.071, to seek the City Attorney's advice regarding a proposed contract with San Marcos Area Chamber of Commerce for Economic Development Services; Section 551.074 to discuss the employment of public officer or employee (City Manager search firm presentations) and to discuss the evaluation of public officers (Dan O'Leary). The Council adjourned into Executive Session at 6:02 p.m. Mayor Narvaiz announced the Council would reconvene at 6:55 p.m. Mayor Narvaiz introduced for consideration adoption or direction to Staff on matters discussed in Executive Session.
