City Council Meeting Minutes December 2, 2014 <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br />A motion was made by Council Member Thomason, seconded by Council Member Prewitt, to <br />approve the consent agenda. The motion carried by the following vote: <br />For: 7- Mayor Guerrero, Council Member Thomaides, Council Member Thomason, <br />Deputy Mayor Pro Tern Scott, Mayor Pro -Tem Prather, Council Member Prewitt <br />and Council Member Hughson <br />Against: 0 <br />4. Consider approval of the following: <br />November 17, 2014, Special Meeting Minutes <br />November 18, 2014, Regular Meeting Minutes <br />5. Consider approval of Ordinance 2014 -68, on third and final reading, granting to <br />Centerpoint Energy Resources Corp., dba Centerpoint Energy Texas Gas Operations, <br />the right, privilege and franchise to construct, install, extend, remove, replace, <br />abandon, operate and maintain its facilities within the public rights -of -way of the City <br />of San Marcos, Texas for the transportation, delivery, sale and distribution of natural <br />gas; containing other provisions relating to the foregoing subject; providing for <br />severability and providing an effective date. <br />6. Consider approval of Ordinance 2014 -69, on second and final reading, approving a <br />request by ETR Development Consulting, LLC, on behalf of Sac -N -Pac, Inc., <br />amending the Official Zoning Map of the City by rezoning a 0.545 acre, more or less, <br />tract of land out of Lot 3 of the San -N -Pac Centerpoint Subdivision, located at the <br />3900 block of IH -35 south, from "FD" Future Development District to "GC" General <br />Commercial District; and including procedural provisions. <br />7. Consider approval of Ordinance 2014 -70, on second and final reading, approving a <br />petition submitted by Metcalfe, Wolfe, Stuart & Williams, LLP on behalf of Walton <br />Texas, LP granting the consent of the City of San Marcos, Texas, to the creation of <br />Cotton Center Municipal Utility District No. 1 within the City's Extraterritorial <br />Jurisdiction; approving a consent agreement; authorizing the City Manager to execute <br />the consent agreement; and providing for an effective date. <br />A motion was made by Council Member Thomason, seconded by Council Member Prewitt, to <br />approve the consent agenda.
