<br />Mayor Morris called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m.
<br />
<br />Mayor Morris introduced for consideration approval of two
<br />appointments to the Library Board. Mayor Morris moved to appoint
<br />Shirley Boemerman and Mr. Moore seconded the motion, which passed
<br />unanimously. The other appointment will be scheduled October 24,
<br />1988.
<br />
<br />Mayor Morris introduced for consideration approval of two
<br />appointments to the Planning Commis'sion. Mr. Moore moved to
<br />reappoint John Meeks, Mr. Brown moved to appoint Irene Hindson,
<br />and Mr. Plummer moved to appoint David Elliott. On roll call the
<br />following vote was recorded:

<br />Mr. Meeks was reappointed and Ms. Hindson was appointed to the
<br />Planning Commission.

<br />Mayor Morris introduced for consideration approval of two
<br />appointments to the Zoning Commission. Mayor Morris moved to
<br />reappoint Barbara Keller, Mr. Plummer moved to appoint Robert
<br />Mooney, Ms. Kissler moved to reappoint Sylvia Newsom, and Mr.
<br />Brown moved to appoint Rebecca Bell-Metereau. Mr. Brown moved to
<br />table the appointments to the October 24 meeting to give the
<br />Council more time to consider the appointments, and Ms. Kissler
<br />seconded the motion. On roll call the following vote was
<br />recorded:
