No one did, so <br />Mayor Morris closed the public hearing. Mr. Hernandez moved for <br />adoption of the Zoning Ordinance and Ms. Kissler seconded the <br />motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Mayor Morris introduced for consideration adoption of a <br />Resolution approving a Notice of Sale and Bidding Instructions, <br />Official Bid Form and Official Statement relative to <br />$2,660,000.00 City of San Marcos, Texas Waterworks and Sewer <br />System Revenue Bonds, Series 1988A, and authorizing First <br />Southwest Company to distribute same to prospective bidders. Ms. <br />Kissler moved for adoption of the Resolution and Mr. Guerra <br />seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Mayor Morris introduced for consideration approval to receive a <br />bid from First Southwest Company relative to $2,660,000.00 City <br />of San Marcos, Texas Waterworks and Sewer System Revenue Bonds, <br />Series 1988A. Ms. Kissler moved for approval and Mr. Moore <br />seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Mayor Morris introduced for consideration approval of Paying <br />Agent/Registrar Agreement relative to $2,660,000.00 City of San <br />Marcos, Texas Waterworks and Sewer System Revenue Bonds, Series <br />1988A. Mr. Guerra moved for approval and Mr. Moore seconded the <br />motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Mayor Morris introduced for consideration approval of an <br />Ordinance on first reading, the caption which was read as <br />follows: <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS, AMENDING CHAPTER 16, MISCELLANEOUS OFFENSES AND <br />PROVISIONS, ARTICLE I, SECTION 16-12 OF THE SAN MARCOS CODE <br />OF ORDINANCES, TO INCLUDE AS OFFENSES STOPPING AND STANDING <br />ON BRIDGES CROSSING THE SAN MARCOS RIVER; AND DECLARING AN <br />EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />Ms. Kissler moved for approval of the Ordinance on first reading <br />and Mr. Brown seconded the motion. The Council requested further <br />information be provided regarding this Ordinance. Mayor Morris <br />moved to table the Ordinance and Mr. Guerra seconded the motion, <br />which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Mayor Morris introduced for consideration approval of an <br />Ordinance on first reading, the caption which was read as <br />follows: <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN ~ßRCOS, <br />TEXAS, AMENDING CHAPTER 2, ARTICLE VII, SECTION 2-131 OF THE <br />CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS TO PROVIDE THAT <br />ONE MEMBER OF THE COMMISSION FOR MINORITIES MAY LIVE IN THE <br />CITY'S EXTRATERRITORIAL JURISDICTION AND DECLARING AN <br />EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />Ms. Kissler moved for approval of the Ordinance on first reading <br />and Mr. Moore seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Mayor Morris introduced for consideration approval of an <br />Ordinance on first reading, the caption which was read as <br />follows: <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS, AMENDING CHAPTER 29 - TRAFFIC, ARTICLE VI, SECTION <br />29-150 OF THE SAN MARCOS CODE OF ORDINANCES BY THE ADDITION <br />OF A NO PARKING - TOW AWAY ZONE ON BOTH SIDES OF FRANKLIN <br />STREET BETWEEN FURMAN AND ALLEN STREETS AND DECLARING AN <br />EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />
