ATTACHMENT A <br />Freese and Nichols (FNI) will render the following professional services in connection with the <br />development of the Projects: <br />BASIC SERVICES <br />1. Project Management <br />A. Coordinate with City of San Marcos to obtain previous studies <br />B. Prepare monthly updates and invoices <br />C. Attend Project status meetings (estimate 6) <br />D. Perform and document quality control reviews for each discipline of the project <br />2. Survey <br />A. Hopkins Street <br />(1) Establish horizontal and vertical control within the project limits based on City provided <br />benchmark data. <br />(2) Research property owner information and establish rights -of -way, property lines and <br />easement locations. <br />(3) Perform topographic surveys determining the horizontal and vertical location of <br />topographic features from approximately 10 -feet behind the apparent right -of -way to <br />approximately 10 -feet behind the apparent right -of -way, including: <br />(a) Pavement, curbs, medians, driveways, and sidewalks. <br />(b) Trees, Signs, fences, poles and posts. <br />(c) Drainage structures including inlets, manholes, headwalls and channels. <br />(d) Utility features such as fire hydrants, manholes, water valves, junction boxes, power <br />poles, electrical boxes, transformers, telecommunications, traffic signal equipment, <br />underground pipeline markers. Sanitary sewer survey shall extend to the next <br />manhole upstream or downstream of the last manhole on either end of the project <br />area. <br />(4) Field Surveyed cross - sections at 50 -foot intervals throughout the project length. Additional <br />sections shall be taken at significant breaks in grade or at other locations that shall influence <br />design activities. Cross - sections shall extend to approximately 10 -feet beyond the apparent <br />right -of -way. <br />(5) Cross - sections shall extend a minimum of 200 -feet left and right of the existing ROW at all <br />roadway intersections. <br />B. Belvin Steet <br />(1) Utility features such as fire hydrants, manholes, water valves, junction boxes, power <br />poles, electrical boxes, transformers, telecommunications, traffic signal equipment, <br />underground pipeline markers. Sanitary sewer survey, including flowline, shall extend to <br />the next manhole upstream or downstream of the last manhole on either end of the <br />project area. <br />C. Drainage Study <br />(1) Stream cross - sections on 50 -foot intervals at drainage course intersections. Cross - <br />sections shall extend 300 -feet downstream of each stream intersection and shall identify <br />tops and toes of channel sections, as well as and significant grade changes along the <br />profile of the stream. <br />(a) Existing channel at Discharge Point 1 <br />(b) Existing channel downstream of San Antonio Street S.E. of Discharge Point 2 <br />
