seasonal basis, such other additional personnel as may be reasonably necessary to
<br />carry out its obligations hereunder; provided, however, that in the event the costs
<br />of such additional personnel has not been provided in the applicable annual
<br />Approved Operating Budget, employment of such additional personnel is subject
<br />to the limitation that expenditures for this category in excess of the amount shown
<br />in the Approved Operating Budget shall not be reimbursable to Operator.
<br />Operator shall set policies commensurate with the objectives of the City (and use
<br />best efforts to enforce such policies) regarding the conduct, demeanor, and
<br />appearance of its employees (including policies which prohibit such employees or
<br />agents of the Operator from soliciting or conducting business in a loud, noisy,
<br />boisterous, offensive, or objectionable manner), who shall be trained and possess
<br />the qualifications as may be required by all governmental authorities in carrying
<br />out assigned duties. Operator shall perform background checks or require
<br />background checks to be performed on all personnel assigned to the Airport by
<br />the Operator, and the City shall have the right to review such background checks.
<br />3.1.18 Supervise and manage its employees. The Operator will:
<br />a. Be solely responsible for the performance of its employees. In addition, the
<br />Operator will ensure that its employees provide airport customers with the
<br />highest level of courtesy, efficiency, operational performance and
<br />responsiveness.
<br />b. Provide adequate training for its personnel in areas of operation, maintenance,
<br />safety, supervisory skills, energy management, etc.
<br />c. Be responsible for all costs associated with its employees including, but not
<br />limited to, salaries, wages, overtime, pay differential, longevity,
<br />unemployment compensation, holiday pay, meal allowance, education
<br />assistance, hospital, medical, dental plans, life insurance, retirement
<br />contributions, sick leave and other costs directly attributable to the Operator's
<br />employees. In addition, the Operator will be fully responsible for processing
<br />payroll for its employees.
<br />Financial Services. The Operator will:
<br />3.1.19 Promptly collect all funds due in connection with the management and operation
<br />of the Airport (including but not limited to, lease payments, through the fence
<br />agreement payments, tie down fees, license fees, concession fees, access fees,
<br />landing fees, customs fees, signage fees, gross receipts taxes, and fuel flowage
<br />fees) and deposit into the Operating Account, and remit on a weekly basis, all
<br />such funds with the Finance Department during regular business hours. Each
<br />remittance should provide an accurate and true accounting of all revenue codes
<br />related to the collection of funds.
