Call To Order <br />With a quorum present, the regular meeting of the San Marcos City Council was called to order <br />by Mayor Daniel Guerrero at 5:37 p.m. Tuesday, January 6, 2015 in the City Council Chambers, <br />630 East Hopkins, San Marcos, Texas 78666. <br />II. Roll Call <br />Present: 7 - Mayor Daniel Guerrero, Council Member John Thomaides, Council Member Ryan <br />Thomason, Deputy Mayor Pro Tem Shane Scott, Mayor Pro -Tem Jude Prather, <br />Council Member Lisa Prewitt and Council Member Jane Hughson <br />PRESENTATIONS <br />1. Receive a Staff Presentation and hold discussion regarding the City's CDBG Program <br />and the 2015 -2019 Consolidated Plan, and provide direction to Staff. <br />Janis Hendrix, Community Initiatives Program Administrator provided a presentation. Following <br />Council discussion and direction Staff will meet early on with the Human Services Advisory <br />Board in an attempt to get funding requests to Council sooner to aid in review of any duplicate <br />requests. There was a consensus to move the allocated Swift Park Skate Feature Project funds <br />over to the Veterans Park Improvements project and to discuss what would be done with Swift <br />Park instead of a skate feature. <br />2. Receive a Staff update regarding the next stages of the Hunter Road Construction <br />Project, and provide direction to Staff. <br />Laurie Moyer, Director of CIP and Richard Reynosa gave a presentation to City Council rgarding <br />the next stages of the Hunter Road Construction Project. <br />6:00 PM <br />III. Invocation <br />A moment of silence was observed. <br />IV. Pledges Of Allegiance - United States And Texas <br />Council Member Lisa Prewitt led the assembly in the Pledges of Allegiance. <br />V. 30 Minute Citizen Comment Period <br />City of San Marcos Page 1 <br />
