Hopkins <br />630 East Hopkins <br />San Marcos, TX 78666 <br />City Council Chambers <br />With a quorum present, the regular meeting of the San Marcos City Council was called to order <br />by Mayor Daniel Guerrero at 5:02 p.m. Tuesday, February 17, 2015 in the City Council Chambers, <br />630 E. Hopkins, San Marcos, Texas 78666. <br />II. Roll Call <br />Council Member Prewitt and Council Member Thomaides arrived after roll call at 5:05 p.m. <br />Present: 7 - Mayor Daniel Guerrero, Council Member John Thomaides, Council Member Ryan <br />Thomason, Deputy Mayor Pro Tern Shane Scott, Mayor Pro -Tem Jude Prather, <br />Council Member Lisa Prewitt and Council Member Jane Hughson <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION <br />1. 5:OOPM Executive Session in accordance with Section §551.072 of the Texas <br />Government Code: Real Property - deliberate regarding the potential sale of City land <br />located at locations off of Hutchinson Street and Edward Gary Street, and to <br />deliberate the terms and conditions of the City's acquisition from Hays County of 110 <br />acres of land out of a tract of land commonly known as the Wildenthal Tract. <br />A motion was made by Council Member Thomason, seconded by Deputy Mayor Pro Tern Scott, <br />to adjourn into Executive Session at 5:04 p.m. The motion carried by the following vote: <br />For: 5 - Mayor Guerrero, Council Member Thomason, Deputy Mayor Pro Tern Scott, <br />Mayor Pro -Tem Prather and Council Member Hughson <br />Against: 0 <br />Absent: 2 - Council Member Thomaides and Council Member Prewitt <br />2. Consider adoption or direction to Staff on matters discussed in Executive Session. <br />The Council reconviened into regular session at 6:07 p.m. The Council provided direction to <br />Staff during Executive Session. <br />PRESENTATIONS <br />3. Receive a presentation and final report from the 2014 Sunset Advisory Commission, <br />and provide direction to Staff. <br />The City Council received the 2014 Sunset Advisory Commission recommendation report from <br />Chair Frank Arredondo. <br />City of San Marcos Page 1 <br />
