Mayor Younger introduced for consideration adoption of a Resolution, the caption which was read as follows: A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING A CONSULTING AGREEMENT BE- TWEEN THE CITY AND FRED SAFFER UTILITY CONSULTANTS, INC., AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO THE AGREEMENT, AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. Ms. Kissler moved for adoption of the Resolution and to amend SECTION 10 to add the date February 15, 1987 and Mr. Nicola seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mayor Younger introduced for consideration adoption of a Resolution, the caption which was read as follows: A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING A PRIVATE ROAD CROSSING LICENSE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY AND MISSOURI- KANSAS-TEXAS RAILROAD COMPANY, AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO THE AGREEMENT, AND DECLARING AN EFFECT- IVE DATE. Mr. Farr moved for adoption of the Resolution and Mr. Brown seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mayor Younger introduced for consideration adoption of a Resolution, the caption which was read as follows: A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, DESIGNATING A REPRESENTATIVE OF THE CITY PURSUANT TO THE OPERATING AGREEMENT WITH THE LOWER COLORADO RIVER AUTHORITY, AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. Mr. Guerra moved for adoption of the Resolution and Mayor Younger se- conded the motion. Mr. Guerra wants the Council to be provided minutes of the Election Board's meetings. The Council voted unanimously for adoption of the Resolution. Mayor Younger introduced for consideration adoption of a Resolution, the caption which was read as follows: A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF AN AGREEMENT PERTAINING TO WATER WELLS BETWEEN SAID CITY AND HANDLER SMITH, AUTHORIZING ITS EXECUTION BY THE CITY MANAGER, AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. Mr. Guerra moved to table this matter until May 11, 1987 at the request of Staff and Mr. Brown seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mayor Younger introduced for consideration approval of a summer intern for the San Marcos Municipal Airport and direction for budget amendment in the amount of $700.00 from Airport Fund. Mr. Farr moved for ap- proval and Mr. Brown seconded the motion, which passed unanimously.
