4 Regular Meeting May 11, 1987 Page 3 Mayor Younger introduced for consideration a public hearing and adoption of Zoning Ordinance, the caption which was read as follows: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING SECTION 3 OF THAT ORDINANCE WHICH REGULATES AND RESTRICTS THE LOCATION AND USE OF BUILDINGS, STRUCTURES AND LAND, DATED JUNE 13, 1984 (VOL. 66) BY ZONING LOTS 1,3,4,5,6,7 AND 8 OF THE RESUBDI- VISION OF BLOCK 17 OF THE WESTOVER ADDITION TO THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS AS RECORDED IN VOLUME 1, PAGE 195 OF THE HAYS COUNTY PLAT RECORDS; LOCATED NORTHWEST OF THE 1000 BLOCK OF EARLE STREET AND SOUTHWEST OF THE 1200 BLOCK OF GIRARD STREET FROM "DP-2" (DUPLEX DISTRICT-MEDIUM DENSITY) AND "R-l" (SINGLE FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT- LOW DENSITY) TO "DP-l" (DUPLEX DISTRICT-LOW DENSITY); AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. Mayor Younger declared the public hearing open. There was no one present to speak for or in opposition of the Ordinance. Mayor Younger declared the public hearing closed. Mr. Farr moved to adopt the Ordinance and Mr. Brown seconded the motion which passed unanimously. MAJOR'S SUBDIVISION NO.1 OUT OF THE J.M. VERAMENDI LEAGUE NO.2 RECORDED IN VOLUME 141, PAGE 609 OF THE HAYS COUNTY DEED RECORDS A/K/A 2115 AND 2117 RIVER ROAD FROM "PD" (PRE-DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT) TO "R-l" (SINGLE-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT-LOW DENSITY) AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. Mayor Younger introduced for consideration a public hearing and adoption of Zoning Ordinance, the caption which was read as follows: AN ORDINAK:EOF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING SECTION 3 OF THAT ORDINANCE WHICH REGULATES AND RESTRICTS THE LOCATION AND USE OF BUILDINGS, STRUCTURES AND LAND, DATED JUNE 13, 1984 (VOL. 66) BY ZONING BLOCK 45, LOTS 573-576 OF THE WESTOVER ADDITION TO THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS AS RECORDED IN VOLUME 59, PAGE 185 OF THE HAYS COUNTY DEED RECORDS; LOCATED ON THE SOUTHEAST SIDE OF THE 800 BLOCK OF HILLYER STREET FROM "DP-2" (DUPLEX DISTRICT-MEDIUM DENSITY) TO "R-l" (SINGLE-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT-LOW DENSITY); AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
