Mayor Younger opened the public hearing and asked if anyone wished to speak in favor or in opposition to the zoning request. No one did, so Mayor Younger closed the public hearing. Mr. Coddington moved for adoption of the Zoning Ordinance and Mr. Brown seconded the motion. Mr. Robbins advised the Council this zoning was City- initiated to bring the zoning into conformance with the existing use of the Master Plan. On roll call the following vote was record- ed: AYE: Brown, Coddington, Farr, Younger, Guerra, Nicola. NAY: None. ABSTAIN: Kissler. Mayor Younger introduced a public hearing and adoption of a Zoning Ordinance, the caption which was read as follows: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING SECTION 3 OF THAT ORDINANCE WHICH REGULATES AND RESTRICTS THE LOCATION AND USE OF BUILDINGS, STRUCTURES AND LAND, DATED JUNE 13, 1984 (VOL. 66) BY ZONING BLOCK 1, LOTS 6 AND 7 OF JOHN SCOTT'S SUBDIVISION OF HIS PART OF FARM LOT #15 IN SAN MARCOS, TEXAS AS RECORDED IN VOLUME R, PAGE 255 OF THE HAYS COUNTY DEED RECORDS; LOCATED ON THE SOUTHWEST SIDE OF THE 200 BLOCK OF SCOTT STREET, FROM "MF-4" (MULTI-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT [HIGH DENSITY]) TO IIMF-l" (MULTI-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT [LOW DENSITY]); AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
