Mr. Hankins advised the Council the $1.00 charges <br />listed in Sec. 16-32 were the current fees in our Ordinance, that <br />this Section had not been changed, but that a $50.00 charge in the <br />same Section for administrative costs is provided, which will offset <br />some of the expense involved. On roll call for approval of the Ordin- <br />ance on first reading, the Council voted unanimous approval. <br /> <br />Mayor Younger introduced for consideration approval of an Ordinance <br />on first reading, the caption which was read as follows: <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING CHAPTER 31, MUNICIPAL AIRPORT, <br />OF THE SAN MARCOS CODE OF ORDINANCES BY CLARIFYING <br />OWNER AND PILOT RESPONSIBILITIES FOR TIE-DOWN FEES <br />AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />Mr. Farr moved for approval of the Ordinance on first reading and <br />Mayor Younger seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Mayor Younger introduced for consideration adoption of an Ordinance <br />on third and final reading, the caption which was read as follows: <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING APPENDIX A, THE GENERAL ZONING <br />ORDINANCE OF THE SAN MARCOS CODE OF ORDINANCES BY PROVID- <br />ING FOR ZONING CHANGES ON ONE READING, PROVIDING A THREE- <br />FOURTHS CITY COUNCIL VOTE TO OVERRULE A ZONING COMMISSION <br />DENIAL, PROVIDING FOR AN OFFICIAL ZONING MAP, DELETING <br />UNNECESSARY DEFINITIONS, ADOPTING NEW DEFINITIONS, PROVID- <br />ING NEW AREA REQUIREMENTS FOR ZONING DISTRICTS, PROVIDING <br />PERMITTED AND SPECIFIC USES FOR ZONING DISTRICTS, DELETING <br />PROHIBITED USES FOR ZONING DISTRICTS, PROVIDING PARKING <br />SPACE REGULATIONS, AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />Mayor Younger moved for adoption of the Ordinance on third and final <br />reading and Mr. Brown seconded the motion. Ms. Kissler moved to amend <br />the Ordinance on Page 12, PART 17. Section 15. (C) (2) to add: "Minimum <br />lot width and lot frontage: . . ." and on Page 13, PART 18. Section 16. <br />(C) (6) (a) to amend as follows: "Internal, corner--common wall: 0 feet. <br />. . . 'I and .Lvir. Farr seconded the motion, which passed unanimous ly. <br />Mayor Younger stated he was opposed to the Council being required to <br />have a vote of three-fourths of the Council to overrule a recommenda- <br />tion of the Zoning Commission and felt that should be changed to <br />four members of the Council. On roll call for adoption of the Ordin- <br />ance, the following vote was recorded: <br /> <br />AYE: <br /> <br />Brown, Farr, Hernandez, Kissler, Nicola. <br /> <br />NAY:-- Guerra, Younger. <br /> <br />ABSTAIN: <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />Mayor Younger introduced for consideration reconsideration of two <br />Zoning Ordinances. The Council did not wish to reconsider either of <br />these Ordinances. The captions of these Ordinances read as follows: <br />
