No license shall be issued until such person has first given good and sufficient bond in the sum of Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00) to guarantee such person's full compliance with the ordinances of the City of San Marcos, Texas, regulating the installa- tion and repair of air conditioning units and equipment apparatus. Mr. Guerra moved to amend the Ordinance to incorporate the amendment read into the record by Mr. Hankins and Ms. Kissler seconded the mo- tion, which passed unanimously. The Council then voted unanimously for approval of the Ordinance on first reading. Mayor Younger introduced for consideration approval of an Ordinance on first reading, the caption which was read as follows: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING CHAPTER 29 OF THE SAN MARCOS CODE OF ORDINANCES BY REPLACING A YIELD SIGN WITH A STOP SIGN AT THE INTERSECTION OF LAUREL LANE AND ALTA VISTA AND ESTABLISHING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. Ms. Kissler moved for approval of the Ordinance on first reading and Mr. Guerra seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mayor Younger introduced for consideration reconsideration of a Zoning Ordinance. The Council did not wish to reconsider this Ordinance. The caption of the Ordinance reads as follows: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING SECTION 3 OF THAT ORDINANCE WHICH REGULATES AND RESTRICTS THE LOCATION AND USE OF BUILDINGS, STRUCTURES AND LAND, DATED JUNE 13, 1984 (VOL. 66) BY ZONING A 15 ACRE TRACT OF LAND IN THE J. M. VERMAENDI SURVEY NO.1 IN HAYS COUNTY AND BEING OUT OF THAT 150.82 ACRE TRACT OF LAND CONVEYED HANNO GUENTHER, TRSUTEE, TO RICHARD L. BURDICK, BY DEED DATED DECEMBER 10, 1969, AND RECORDED IN VOLUME 234, PAGE 99 AND BEING OUT OF THAT SAME TRACT OF LAND CONVEYED BY THERMON INDUSTRIES TO RICHARD L. BURDICK, ET AL BY DEEDS RECORDED IN VOLUME 241, PAGE 884 AND VOLUME 247, PAGE 483 OF THE HAYS COUNTY DEED RECORDS, LOCATED ON THE NORTHEAST SIDE OF CLOVIS BARKER ROAD, FROM "R-l" (SINGLE-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT) TO "P" (PUBLIC USE DISTRICT); AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. Mr. Brown moved for approval of the four Ordin- ances on second reading and for adoption of the four Ordinances on third and final reading by consensus and Mr. Guerra seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. The captions of these Ordinances read as follows: Consider approval of Ordinances on second reading:
