No license shall be issued until such <br />person has first given good and sufficient bond in the <br />sum of Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00) to guarantee <br />such person's full compliance with the ordinances of <br />the City of San Marcos, Texas, regulating the installa- <br />tion and repair of air conditioning units and equipment <br />apparatus. <br /> <br />Mr. Guerra moved to amend the Ordinance to incorporate the amendment <br />read into the record by Mr. Hankins and Ms. Kissler seconded the mo- <br />tion, which passed unanimously. The Council then voted unanimously <br />for approval of the Ordinance on first reading. <br /> <br />Mayor Younger introduced for consideration approval of an Ordinance <br />on first reading, the caption which was read as follows: <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING CHAPTER 29 OF THE SAN MARCOS <br />CODE OF ORDINANCES BY REPLACING A YIELD SIGN WITH A <br />STOP SIGN AT THE INTERSECTION OF LAUREL LANE AND ALTA <br />VISTA AND ESTABLISHING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />Ms. Kissler moved for approval of the Ordinance on first reading and <br />Mr. Guerra seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Mayor Younger introduced for consideration reconsideration of a Zoning <br />Ordinance. The Council did not wish to reconsider this Ordinance. Mr. Brown moved for approval of the four Ordin- <br />ances on second reading and for adoption of the four Ordinances on <br />third and final reading by consensus and Mr. Guerra seconded the <br />motion, which passed unanimously.
