M. VERAMENDI LEAGUE NO.1, FROM <br />BEING "PD" (PRE-DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT), "P" (PUBLIC <br />USE), "R-l" (SINGLE-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT [LOW <br />DENSITY]), AND "c" (COMMERCIAL DISTRICT) TO "pDD" <br />(PLANNED DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT) i APPROVING A PDD DE- <br />VELOPMENT PLAN FOR SAID 84.17 ACRE TRACT AND DECLAR- <br />ING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />Mayor Younger opened the public hearing and asked if anyone wished <br />to speak in favor or in opposition to the Zoning request. Jim Wittliff <br />represented the owner of the property. Mr. Wittliff reviewed with <br />Council a location map and development plan for Hunter's Hill, Phase <br />2 and urged the Council's approval of the zoning request. He stated <br />they needed two accesses for this development to occur. Mr. Brown asked <br />Mr. Robbins is signalization was warranted in this area. Mr. Robbins <br />stated it would be the State's responsibility, but that he did not <br />know when signalization would occur. No one else wished to speak in <br />favor or in opposition, so Mayor Younger closed the public hearing. <br />Mr. Hernandez moved for adoption of the Zoning Ordinance and Ms. <br />Kissler seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Mayor Younger introduced for consideration a public hearing and adoption <br />of a Resolution, the caption which was read as follows: <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE FUTURE LAND USE PLAN <br />(MAP) OF THE MASTER PLAN OF SAID CITY, OF 30.4 ACRES <br />BEING PART OF A LARGER 84.17 ACRE TRACT IN THE CITY <br />OF SAN MARCOS, HAYS COUNTY, TEXAS, LOCATED ON THE <br />NORTHWEST SIDE OF THE WONDER WORLD INTERSECTION FROM <br />LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL AND PERMANENT OPEN SPACE/ <br />FLOODPLAIN TO HIGH DENSITY RESIDENTIAL, LOW DENSITY <br />RESIDENTIAL, AND PERMANENT OPEN SPACE/FLOODPLAIN; AND <br />DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />Mayor Younger opened the public hearing and asked if anyone wished <br />to speak in favor or in opposition to the land use amendment. No <br />one did, so Mayor Younger closed the public hearing. Mr. Brown <br />moved for adoption of the Resolution and ~1r.
