<br />16 <br /> <br />Regular Meeting <br /> <br />September 14, 1987 <br /> <br />Page 9 <br /> <br />Mayor Younger introduced Mayor's discussion item, reports from the <br />Drainage Advisory Board. Steve Jenkins stated the Board had re- <br />ceived 92 complaints as of July 8, 1987. He stated recommendations <br />will come to the Council from the Board as to costs and for direction. <br />He stated some drainage would be addressed in the CIP bond election <br />in May. Mayor Younger stated he wants the Board to seek help for <br />funding of projects. <br /> <br />Mayor Younger introduced Mayor's discussion item, update on fluorida- <br />tion system. Nick Caruso advised the Council Spring lake would be in <br />operation by the end of the month or first week in October. He stated <br />Comanche Station would be in operation by the end of November. <br /> <br />Mayor Younger introduced Mayor's discussion item, report on Post Road <br />drainage. Steve Jenkins presented the Council with two routing alterna- <br />tives for the drainage improvements, which are estimated to be $20,000 <br />and $50,000. Mr. Gonzalez advised there are still funds from the Bond <br />Program that could be used for this purpose. <br /> <br />Mr. Brown moved the Council adjourn into Executive Session pursuant <br />to Article 6252-17, §§2(e) and (g), V.A.C.S., to discuss matters where <br />the duites of the City Attorney to the City pursuant to the Code of <br />Professional Responsibility of the State Bar of Texas clearly conflicts <br />with Article 6252-17; duties of a public officer or employee and com- <br />plaints or charges against a public officer or employee, respectively, <br />and Mayor Younger seconded the motion, which passed unanimously (10:22 <br />p.m.). . <br /> <br />Mr. Hernandez moved the Council reconvene at 11:45 p.m. and Mr. Farr <br />seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />The meeting adjourned at 11:46 p.m. on motion made by Mayor Younger <br />and seconded by Mr. Guerra. <br /> <br />)(~Q tJ, rL~ <br /> <br />, "' <br />\, <~, /\ <br />,~.. ,: 'vi'.;) '\ / i <br />\.
