Upon authorization, the appraisal district would <br />reappraise property damaged at its market value immediately after the disaster. This <br />could provide some property tax relief for those affected by this disaster for the 2015 <br />tax year. <br />Please note that the decision to authorize the reappraisal would decrease taxable value <br />from the certified roll provided on July 25, 2015. <br />The appraisal district will do its best to absorb any additional costs associated with <br />this reappraisal.
