Womack <br />Lamar W. hankins <br />Larry Gilley <br /> <br />Also Present: Mark Hendricks, Henry Krause, Bill Fly, Patty Sullivan, <br />Robert Hardesty, Hugh Snellings, Jay Moore, Bill Coddington, Cindy <br />Rodriguez, Patsy Greiner, Melissa Millecam, Randall Morris, Patty <br />Wenk, John McCrocklin, Kathy Morris, Bruce Harper, Bill Plummer and <br />others. <br /> <br />Mayor Younger called the meeting to order at 11:00 a.m. <br /> <br />Mayor Younger stated the Council was setting some rules for conducting <br />this meeting. He stated the Council would adjourn into Executive Ses- <br />sions for a short period and any of the CTHEA Board Members who wished <br />to make a statement to the Council at that time could do so. He stated <br />any Board Members who did not wish to make a private statement could <br />make their statement in public. He stated the City's letter to the <br />Board Members outlined the reason for the Council's action. He stated <br />this would not be a public hearing and the Council would only allow <br />Board Members the right to speak; the Council would not answer any <br />questions from the Board Members or any of the audience until the re- <br />moval proceedings were completed and the new Board Members appointed. <br /> <br />Kathy Morris asked Mayor Younger if they were being denied a public <br />hearing and when would they have a public hearing. Mayor Younger <br />stated they would have a public hearing in about five minutes unless <br />there were a number of the Members who wanted private hearings. Mr. <br />Fly stated he had a recent conversation with Mr. Hankins and requested <br />permission to bring that information to the Council. Mayor Younger <br />requested Mr. Fly pass the information to Mr. Hankins. <br /> <br />Mr. Guerra moved the Council adjourn into Executive Session pursuant <br />to Article 6252-17, §2(g), V.A.C.S., with respect to the dismissal of <br />public officers and pursuant to Article 6252-17, §2(e), V.A.C.S., to <br />seek the City Attorney's advice with respect to matters where the du- <br />ties of the City Attorney to the City pursuant to the Code of Profes- <br />sional Responsibility of the State Bar of Texas clearly conflicts with <br />Article 6252-17, and Mr. Hernandez seconded the motion, which passed <br />unanimously (Mr. Nicola present to vote on this item - 11:02 a.m. - <br />adjourned at 11:04 a.m.). <br /> <br />Mr. Hernandez moved the Council reconvene at 11:41 a.m. and Ms. Kissler <br />seconded the motion, which passed unanimously (Mr. Nicola not present <br />to vote on this item). <br /> <br />Mayor Younger stated the Council wculd now allow the Board Members to <br />make their statements, and named Patty Sullivan, and requested she come <br />to the podium to make her statement.
