Mr. Hernandez Doved to remove Kathi Castaldi from the <br />CTHEA and Mr. Guerra seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br />Mr. Farr moved to remove John Morrisset from the CTHEA and Ms. <br />Kissler seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mr. Brown <br />moved to remove Frank Arredondo from the CTHEA and Ms. Kissler second- <br />ed the motion, which passed unanimously. Mr. Guerra moved to remove <br />Raymond Johnson from the CTHEA and Mr. Farr seconded the motion, which <br />passed unanimously. Ofelia Vasquez resigned by letter the afternoon <br />of November 2, so there was no need for her removal from CTHEA. <br /> <br />Mayor Younger read a statement of the City Council concerning the re- <br />moval of CTHEA Board Members, dated November 2, 1987, into the record, <br />a copy of which is attached to these minutes. <br /> <br />Mayor Younger introduced for consideration approval of appointments <br />for any vacancies on the CTHEA Board. Mr. Guerra moved to appoint <br />Reverend Felipe Hernandez to replace Frank Arredondo and Mr. Farr <br />seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mr. Nicola moved to <br />appoint Gilbert Conoley to replace Raymond Johnson and Mr. Hernandez <br />seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mr. Hernandez moved <br />to appoint Augustin Lucio to replace Kathi Castoldi and Mr. Nicola <br />seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mr. Nicola moved to <br />appoint David Allison to replace John Morrisset and Mr. Guerra second- <br />ed the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Mayor Younger asked if any of the CTHEA Board Members wished to make <br />any further statements. Kathy Morris stated the CTHEA Members have <br />met with the Council and requested they meet more, which some Council <br />Members did and some did not. She stated Jake Pickle had been badly <br />maligned in this matter. She stated they have asked for clarification <br />of the law, but that it was not the intention of Congress that the funds <br />should go to the City.
