RENEWAL AND EXTENSION OF A PROPERTY USE AGREEMENT BETWEEN <br />THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS AND TEXAS STATE UNIVERSITY <br />I. RECITALS <br />1.01. Effective March 3, 2003, the City of San Marcos and Southwest Texas State <br />University, now known as Texas State University, entered into a Property Use Agreement (the <br />"Agreement ") under which the City authorized Texas State University to use designated parking <br />areas along Charles Austin Drive and Texas State University authorized the City to use <br />designated parking areas behind Fire Station l downtown. <br />1.02. The Agreement was renewed and extended through August 31, 2015. <br />1.03. The parties wish to renew and extend the Agreement for an additional three year <br />term effective September 1, 2015. <br />II. RENEWAL AND EXTENSION <br />2.01. Section 2.02 of the Agreement allows the parties, by written agreement, to extend <br />the term of the Agreement for such additional time as they deem appropriate. <br />2.02. The term of the Agreement as set forth in section 2.01 is, hereby, renewed and <br />extended for a term beginning September 1, 2015 and ending August 31, 2018. <br />2.03 All other terms and conditions of the Agreement shall continue in full force and <br />effect. <br />AGREED to effective as of the date of the last signature below. <br />CITY OF SAN MARCOS: <br />By: <br />William A.
