Exhibit B -3
Mobile TraQ
Incident Recording Software for Smartphones
Mobile TraQ turns an Phone, Pod or Android smart phone into a single device for
documenting the scene of a crime or other incident. An officer uses the device to:
Take still images
Record videos
Capture interviews
Dictate or key notes
Auto - record names and addresses of involved persons
Take evidence images and dictate their descriptions
After collection, the user uploads data to TraQ Suite, a complete evidence management
application. TraQ authenticates what is uploaded and signals the device that the upload
was successful. The device memory is total wiped clean, so TraQ alone has the
originals.
Using tools in TraQ, the officer can annotate videos and images. The system
transcribes interviews, so that he can correct errors, but saves the original audio files.
His notes appear in a word processor, so he can edit them into his report and
incorporate, as needed, quotes from interviews and one or more images. The brief
evidence description and images upload to Evidence TraQ, where he can fill in
mandatory fields, print barcodes, put items in lockers, and save an electronic receipt.
TraQ saves the image of the evidence in the item record. The scanned name and
address of involved persons saves in the Suite.
TraQ Suite makes it easy for authorized persons, including prosecutors, to search for
digital and physical evidence, view, copy, and print (images and evidence listings).
They can search on any field or combinations of fields. The chain of custody (audit trail)
records each digital file access and any changes to digital metadata, edits to physical
evidence records, and transfers of physical evidence in and out of the property and
evidence room.
The Suite provides administrators with a granular, role -based security console; and the
system is underlain by a log of all users, access to the system and the records they
accessed.
Both the TraQ's digital evidence and physical evidence management components can
be augmented with a number of optional features to ready digital files for court and
manage the full life cycle of physical evidence, from intake to disposition. A full list of
these powerful and time - saving enhancements is available from QueTel on request.
27
